Enzyme immunoassay for the qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of human IgG antibodies against the extracellular proteins alkaline protease, elastase and exotoxin A of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
The measurement of these antibodies in addition to classical microbiology allows a more sensitive detection of pseudomonas infection. The diagnostic value of this test system was evaluated and published by Kappler et al and Tramper-Stranders et al.
